Welcome to our website (please look at the sub sections too) we are a true Christian family that celebrates ours and everyone’s own individuality, is non judgemental and inclusive. We are small but growing in numbers, our faithful few coming from Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and RC backgrounds we are a truly ecumenical church (Multidenominational, diverse and promoting Christian unity around the world). Our 1st Sunday service takes the form of a Eucharist/Mass something like you would see in many mainstream churches. Our 3rd Sunday service has a Celtic style Eucharist and is more medidative and lighter. We are traditional with a twist, which is we are more relaxed, very welcoming and usually finish with after service drinks of wine (not in Lent), tea, coffee and nibbles.

We are the Reverends Paul and Brizz Miles-Knight, your parish priests and Tom Armstrong reader/acolyte. Our aim is to bring the Christian Message to everyone, in a friendly, welcoming, and above all inclusive way.
We are chaplains of ASDA, in Fratton, the Old Vic Public house in Southsea, and the Hovercraft Museum at Lee on the Solent. Fr Paul has also been appointed
Chaplain to the southern area branch of the National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association.

We are community priests, and we are delighted to have been given the use of The John Pounds (Unitarian) Memorial Church, Old Portsmouth. Why not join us there for our evening Communion Service on the first and third Sunday of each month (followed by refreshments and usually going later to the 'Old Vic') Our Parish covers all of Portsea Island and South Hampshire.

We have a daily celebration of Mass (Holy Communion/the Eucharist - call it what you will) in our home, and the Divine Office (the Prayer of the Church) is also celebrated on a daily basis.
We are available for baptisms, (All committed and loving relationships have a Sacramental nature and can be celebrated and blessed publicly although we regret at this time this can not be done at the John Pounds Church) and funerals and all liturgical needs.

We are here for EVERYONE.

Please take a look around and then

Our Bishop and Father in God, Terry Flynn

The above arms are those of the Most Reverend Terry Flynn STB, Archbishop of the Ecumenical Christian Church (UK & Europe).

The Galero, Mitre and Pastoral Staffs are the traditional symbols of a Bishop in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

The Escutcheon bears the Chi Rho symbol, representing Jesus Christ, on a Rainbow Field. This symbolises the universality of the call of Jesus to all without distinction or discrimination.

The motto is from John’s Gospel, chapter 17 v 21. The priestly prayer of Christ.
